BBM Motorsport-Tuned VW Golf GTI
The current sixth generation of the Volkswagen Golf is only a few weeks away from receiving a welcomed successor, there still are some tuners focusing on the outgoing model. This latest proposal comes from Germany’s BBM Motorsport, which has combined forces with other aftermarket brands to create the VW Golf you see pictured here.
The German tuners have remapped the engine’s ECU and installed a custom exhaust system, all for the purpose of increasing the power output of the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine by 63 hp (46 kW / 64 PS) and 74 lb.-ft. (100 Nm), for a grand total of 271 hp (202 kW / 274 PS) and 280 lb.-ft. (380 Nm).
A new braking system with four piston calipers painted in red from StopTech along with coilover suspension from KW and new 20-inch alloy wheels shod in tires size 235/30R20 provide an upgraded ride and handling.
CFC-Styling was in charge of covering the car in a matte blue foil wrap, while carbon fiber was used for the hood, rear diffuser and the mirror caps.
