BBS extends range of sizes for CH-R and SV models

For the 83rd edition of the Geneva Motor Show, the traditional manufacturer BBS has come up with a number of innovations in the alloy wheel sector.

Model RX-R Special Edition
Spring is going to be sizzling, because that’s when the successful model RX-R will be released to the market as a special edition. The one-piece alloy wheel, which is produced with the BBS low pressure casting process and which reflects pure racing and passion in its aluminum design, will be offered in the classic BBS racing gold. The lightweight wheel, made in a flow-forming process, is limited for selected applications. The RX-R is designed to give VW models, such as Golf GTI, as well as Audi and Mercedes a sportier look. The special edition will be produced in sizes 19 and 20 inches.

Model CH-R
In addition to the already available sizes, the legendary CH-R wheel will now be offered in 2013 in 20 inches for the Porsche 991. The production of the sporty lightweight wheel takes place using the BBS quality low-pressure casting process. The special flow-forming technology, developed for Formula 1, also guarantees the best weight optimization and stability. Relief-milled spokes that reduce the proportion of non-strength-relevant materials to a minimum characterize the high-tech wheel. The CH-R design also includes a value-preserving collision protection which can be replaced if damaged without removing the tires. It is available in the versions brilliant silver, satin black and satin titanium.

Model SV
With the SV design optimized for SUVs in 20 and 22 inches, BBS provides a smart wheel design for high vehicle weight and heavy-use applications. The SV wheel is also produced in the BBS quality low-pressure casting process with subsequent flow-forming. Low weight and high resilience characterize the SV model. It can be ordered in satin black diamond-cut and satin titanium. New passenger car applications in 20 inches also complement the current range of products. In addition, the SV-wheel is now also available in 19 inches for passenger cars from Audi, BMW, VW and Mercedes.
