It takes a good portion of courage as well as confidence to opt for the kind of presentation seen on the newest generation Golf GTI – it is a matte, metallic silver coloured coating (1.500 Euro). The result, however, only reaffirms what experts from CFC knew all along.

With the right clothing, the rest of the car’s sporty yet robust appearance is now on the agenda. An ap-X (749 Euro) screw thread that can be adjusted according to height and hardness has been incorporated into the car especially for this purpose. There is an exhaust system by Eisenmann (1.238 Euro), complete with stainless steel finish and two 100er tail pipes (1.000 Euro) and a down pipe by MR CarDesign. The 265 HP performance and the maximum torque of 390 Nm (799 Euro) can be attributed to XBM Tuning. The GTI now stands on ASA GT2 wheels, which are 8x19 inches in size and soled with rubber tyres in 225/35 R19 (1.999 Euro).

MK-SoundStyle – a company, which also calls Neuss home – is responsible for the Car HiFi Entertainment System. The radio DEX-P99RS (999 Euro) comes from Pioneer. Four output stages from Pioneer (PRS-D2000SPL) power the Pioneer Subwoofer (TS-W8102SPL) in Master/Slave Mode.

The fully active front system was assembled with speakers from Rainbow: High speakers CAL 27 SILK VOF, Midrange Speakers 100 Vanadium, Woofer 165 Vanadium Phase Plug. These are powered by two output stages (iPaul 4 300).

All high end cables are from the AIV’s product line and the spare batteries bear the name Stinger.

They have available now the GT6-R program for the VW Golf 6 with a carbon fiber bodykit. This kit has a carbon fiber hood, that reduces the weight from the factory 14kg to less than 6kg. For the front they have a replacement front chin spoiler. The bodykit is completed with carbon fiber replacement side skirts and a carbon fiber rear valence. This parts have a high gloss finish.

OSIR Design is also working on the GT6-S program that should be available soon (some of the pictures already displayed here). This program will have a carbon fiber hood with 2 vents that reduce high pressure inside the engine compartment under high speed, a 3 pieces add-on front chin spoiler, new front grill, rear diffuser and rear spoiler.

The OSIR catalogue for the interior parts is also very good. The OSIR Orbit V3 illuminated shift is great. CNC'd from solid 6061 Aircraft Aluminum. The press picture shows the original rear lights with conventional bulbs on the right, and the version from in.pro. with modern LED technology on the left. The difference is striking: with the same coloured casing (red/white) the upgraded version seems to have a greater presence, be classier and in short more tempting. The highlight is the trapezoid-shaped light diode pattern, it gives the Golf VI the decisive dash of dynamism. Not cool enough? Under the hood, the German tuner specializing in turbo conversions installed turbos plus intercooler along with larger injectors, modified cylinder head, forged pistons, high performance camshafts, and an optimized ECU. The stock R32's 3.2-liter V6 makes 241bhp and 320Nm / 236 lb-ft, but thanks to a series of modifications the twin-turbo 3.2-liter V6 pushing 2.2 bar of boost with a compression ratio of 7.8:1 produces 790 hp (589 kW / 801 PS) and 1200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the car to run the quarter mile in 10.7 seconds at 216 km/h (134 mph).

To cope with the abundance of power, MTE added a Sachs two-disc sintered clutch in addition to a KW Coilover 'Club Sport' suspension, semi-slick tires, and a high-performance braking system (with 360mm discs and six-piston Brembo calipers).
