One of the new additions for their catalogue is a complete set of interior accessories and bodykit parts for the new VW Scirocco. The OSIR bodykit contains a selection of genuine carbon fiber styling parts that enhance the Scirocco style.

For the front, OSIR Design has an add on front chin spoiler which Includes two piece front chin spoiler and one piece center lip. Optionally, there is a gloss carbon lip. A carbon grille replacement is a straight fit item that will go on without modifications and further improves the Scirocco. The replacement carbon fiber door skirts are also a nice replacement for the OEM equivalent. The plates are equipped with the new GRS (Guided Roller System). It offers an adjustment possibility with the roller guidance of the roller bearing integrated in the hinges. This results in more safety and more precise opening and closing of the door.

LSD plates are delivered with a part certificate by the German Technical Control Board which ensures that the LSD gull-wing doors fulfil all security standards.

Compared to other retrofit-sets for gull-wing doors, the LSD plates “made in Germany“ impress with a fully developed technology and the highest-possible quality standard. Moreover, a test laboratory accredited by the Federal German Transport Authority confirmed in a side crash-test that the LSD-solution which is patented in Germany is as safe as any serially fitted door. The LSD plates are fitted to the original door attachment points of the dismantled original plates. After the assembly, the otherwise unchanged original door first opens outwards and then securely guided and damped upwards. Adjustable plates stop doors from opening too far or from falling inwards or downwards when opened. And also, it only takes one grip to close the doors. The LSD gull-wing doors render a sensational look to any car and are the ideal solution of fans of extraordinary tuning- and show cars. Designed to give the car an aggressive appearance, the body kit features a revised front fascia with a new honeycomb lower grille in a matte black finish, extended side skirts, and a sporty rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. The increased output of 183 hp and 224 Nm relies on a new turbocharger, Milltek performance exhaust system and special ECU software developed by SKN (Stage5). With the inherent challenges associated with the front-wheel drive, SKN have opted for Bilstein B16-threaded suspension and a locking differential. Since its market launch in 1974, this compact sports coupé has been the most successful Volkswagen in its segment: 795,650 vehicles were sold up to 1992. Currently, the third generation is being manufactured.

Today, at the VW Autoeuropa - Automóveis Ltda. plant in Portugal, just two years after its market launch, the hundred-thousandth third-generation Scirocco rolled off the production line. "The Scirocco is one of the most important cars that we produce. For myself personally, it was a moving moment", said Andreas Hinrichs, Autoeuropa Plant Manager.

The celebrated model is a Scirocco R 2.0 TSI, in Rising Blue Metallic, with a Titan Black interior, radio navigation system, Park Pilot and a tilting sunroof. In southern Portugal, with 3,000 employees, Volkswagen produces the Volkswagen Eos, the new Sharan and, since 2008, the third generation of the Scirocco.

With its attractive design and sporty appearance, the Scirocco leaves a lasting impression. In 2008, it swept up the AutoBILD Design Award and was named Car of the Year by Top Gear magazine. The Scirocco is looking just as good in motor sports as it does on the open road: already in 2008, the racing version of the new Scirocco occupied top ranks at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. In its first time at the competition in 2009, the Scirocco GT24-CNG (natural gas) won in the alternative-drive class.
