Cobra Technology & Lifestyle Accessories for the VW Touran

As nice as painted bumpers are – minor bumps and scrapes while parking quickly render the plastic parts unsightly. For this reason the engineers from Cobra Technology & Lifestyle have developed a high-gloss stainless-steel front brush guard with a tube diameter of 48 millimeters. The guard meets the stringent EU guidelines for pedestrian protection and thus comes with an EG operating certificate, eliminating the need for technical inspections and amending the vehicle documents. For further improved active safety the guard can be fitted with auxiliary headlights. A stainless-steel bumper grille offers the option of further refining the vehicle’s appearance.

For the protection of the vehicle’s sides Cobra Technology & Lifestyle offers two alternatives. Customers can choose from high-gloss side guards with integrated step and a tube diameter of 60 millimeters, and a version with a brushed surface finish without the integrated step.

A rear bumper guard with a choice of high-gloss or brushed finishes is also available.

Various Cobra Technology & Lifestyle alloy wheels up to size 8Jx18 round out the program for the current VW Touran.

The minivan receives the same upgrade from Cobra Technology & Lifestyle with a stainless-steel front brush guard and bumper grille for a more striking front-end. The stainless-steel guard has elastic mounts on this car as well and thus meets the requirements for the issuance of an EG operating certificate.

Side guards with integrated step facilitate a more comfortable and safer entering and exiting of the vehicle for driver and passengers while protecting the sides of the five-door vehicle.

Further exclusive highlights are added by Cobra Technology & Lifestyle Grenada five-spoke wheels. In size 8Jx17 these wheels are available as one-piece and multi-piece designs. Cobra Europa alloy wheels are also available in this size.

Changeable front design

The highlight: changes through the look of RACEDESIGN front bumper provide unique, intrinsic branding design! The first design will leave the observer wondering, “Is this a van from Audi?” The “Single Frame” version actually does make the van look like an Audi. The bumper can also easily be changed into the version “GTI Five”. This is possible through a second finish border. One sees the area where finish must be applied to provide an exact GTI front look. To make the GTI look complete, RACEDESIGN offers an accessories set (including fog lights, GTI visors and plastic grille). Those who prefer to show their affiliation to Volkswagen can opt for this possibility by RACEDESIGN as well.

The new front is available immediately and comes with TÜV parts certification and approval. This is for all vehicles with or without headlamp wash / wipe system and fits all 2000 Facelift VW Sharan and 2000 Facelift Seat Alhambra. Furthermore, just as for the RACEDESIGN rear bumper, it can be used for models with Park Distance Control (PDC). Side and rear skirts are supplied each with TÜV approval.

The body kit is available beginning mid-August also for models prior to the Facelift 2000.
