Wide-Body Kit „Royster GT 460“

The Wide-Body Kit consists of the following components:

* Front bumper
* 4x additional lights
* rear apron with integrated tailpipes

* „Royster“ wide body, consisting of:
o side skirts
o wheel arch extensions for front & rear axle

The front bumper can be used on all Touareg facelift models except the R50 and is made for cars with parking sensors (Parktronic / PDC) and headlight washer system. These components have to be taken from the OEM front bumper and inserted into the Hofele bumper. For cars without PDC and / or without headlight washer system caps to seal the openings in the bumper have to be bought additionally. The bumper is mounted to the OEM points of attachment, no modifications are needed.

The front grill has to be taken from the OEM bumper and inserted into the Hofele bumper. Alternatively the Hofele front grill in „Range-Look“ can be used, this front grill has to be ordered separately.

The four additional lights are 2x LED day driving light and 2x fog lamps, they can be connected to the cars electronic grid. The additional lights can only be used in combination with the Hofele front bumper.

The rear apron can be used on all Touareg facelift models except the R50 and is made for cars with parking sensors (Parktronic / PDC), these have to be taken from the OEM rear apron and inserted into the Hofele rear apron. For cars without PDC caps to seal the openings in the rear apron have to be bought additionally. The rear apron has to be connected to the upper OEM rear bumper part, no modifications are needed.

The rear apron is available for cars with or without trailer coupling / tow hitch.

The tailpipes are made of stainless steel and are integrated into the rear apron.

The tailpipe adapters connect the serial muffler with the integrated tailpipes in the rear apron. The tailpipe adapters are available for the R5 engine and the bigger engines starting from the V6.

Alternatively the OEM muffler can be replaced through the Hofele sports muffler made of stainless steel.

This muffler gives your car a more sportive sound.

The rear roof spoiler gets put onto the OEM spoiler and gives the car amore sportive look.

The rear door panel gets glued onto the OEM tailgate and closes the gap between tailgate and the rear sides of the car.

The bonnet / hood scoop „Power Dome“ gets glued onto the bonnet / hood of the Touareg.

The „Royster“ extension kit consists of a set of side skirts and wheel arch extensions for the front and rear axle.

The side skirts have an air intake at the rear end and get put onto the sides of the car.

The wheel arch extensions are glued onto the front bumper and the rear wheel arches.

The extension kit can only be used in combination with the Hofele front bumper and rear apron!

The wheel spacers „Royster“ are made for the use of the extension kit in combination with wheels in the size 9Jx20“ and 10Jx22“. The width of the spacers is 50mm at the front and 70mm at the rear axle. The spacers are available for cars with a PCD of 5/130 and 5/120.

The additionally needed small parts like glue etc. is part of the delivery as well as TÜV approval papers and detailed installation manuals.

The "King Kong" is also an eye-catcher: the underride protection in the front gives the vehicle an even more striking appearance than it already has. But the AEZ "model" is even more extravagant. They fabricated for the Touareg a new body kit consisting of a new front bumper, new rear apron with trapezoidal tailpipes, sides skirts, roof spoiler and removable under ride protection.

This particular package may not include a power boost but it does come with a new 'Power Dome' hood scoop and the car rides on 22 inch Reverso 22 (295/30 R22) wheels. Either a sport springs or ETS module for the air suspension lowers the car by 40mm.

In order to keep the heavy and fast vehicles controllable at any time, ABT Touareg and ABT AS7 are equipped with the ABT sports brake system, which provides appropriate brake force thanks to a disc diameter of 380mm and six-piston calipers. The ABT suspension is tuned perfectly to the dynamic character of the elegant SUVs from the Allgäu. For SUVs equipped with air suspension also the innovative ABT Level Control (ALC) is available – comfortable and at the same time sportily tuned.

You can see how much driving pleasure AS7 and Touareg 3.0 TDI offer, even when the cars are standing still: ABT Sportsline has developed elegant complete sets consisting of front spoiler lip, side sills (AS7), fender extensions, rear wing and rear skirt for both heavy weights. Rear wing and rear skirt harmonize perfectly with the ABT-specific 4-pipe exhaust system. As icing on the cake we recommend 20 or 22-inch BR-wheels. With their corresponding spoke pairs, these wheels accentuate the dynamic design of these two extraordinary vehicles. After all, the “S” in SUV stands for “Sport” – and this is particularly true for the
ABT AS7 and ABT Touareg 3.0 TDI.

Rich in torque!

The Touareg V10 5.0 TDI experiences an optimisation providing this brawny VW SUV with 259 kW / 352 hp which means a power increase of 29 kW / 39 hp. The maximum torque increases from 750 Nm to 855 Nm. Because of the top speed of 234 km/h most limousine drivers will work up a sweat (standard: 225 km/h). In just 7.4 seconds this giant storms from 0 to 100 km/h (standard: 7.8). For the 3.0 V6 TDI JE DESIGN coaxes out 210 kW/ 285 hp and 550 Nm (standard: 165 kW / 225 hp; 500 Nm). The Touareg sprints then in just 8.9 seconds from 0 to 100 (standard: 9.9 sec) and keeps on accelerating till 210 km/h (an additional 9 km/h compared to stock version). The power enhanced engines naturally comply with emissions regulations and come with TÜV parts certification.

Even more powerful appearance

The sporty JE DESIGN styling package for the “Wide Body” conversion is comprised of several components of highest quality and exact accurate fit, giving the Touareg an even more powerful appearance. The front spoiler for the front bumper features a number of cooling vents that are primarily to protect power upgraded engines from dying of heatstroke. Combined to this is a set of side sills with visual air vents, rear skirt attachment for vehicles with PDC plus a tailgate attachment for the lower tailgate area. The complete body kit also includes special wheel arch extensions providing the ultimate “Wide Body” look. The standard produced headlights JE DESIGN replaces with its own double headlight module including fog lights and high beams which provides the Touareg a pair of more attractive “eyes”. In efforts to achieve a homogeneous look, JE DESIGN finishes the original door mouldings by customer preference in matching vehicle colour.

LED´s for special effects

To make the JE DESIGNed Touareg “Wide Body” an eye-catcher at night, they offer a special illumination lighting system for the vehicle entry. Blue LEDs (5 on each side), completely mounted to the bottom of the side sills illuminate the area underneath the doors and provide an unquestionable special effect and also represent a contribution to safety. In the rear, sixfold LED lighting assures a shining effect. Both lighting systems come with TÜV approval.

Perfect road holding

Also being a real eye-turner, two oval stainless steel double tailpipes for left and right give an even sportier look in back. An absolute must-have is the electronical lowering module that JE DESIGN offers for lowering vehicles with air suspension. After installation, the gap between body and road surface is reduced by approximately 35 mm. Vehicles with conventional suspension are offered the choice of lowering springs or stainless steel coilover suspension with adjustable compression and rebound options.

22 inch wheels and wider track

JE DESIGN adds on the 10-Star-wheel in the form of a complete wheel set in size 10 x 22“ ET55 in outstanding matt black finish with matt silver front and tires 295/30 R 22 Y. Logically, the not exactly undersized wheels of the “Wide Body“ Touareg would not come to light without JE DESIGN´s alteration to the track. The German auto tuners widen the front track by 60 mm and the rear track by 80 mm with aluminium spacers. In conjunction with the wider track and the “Wide Body“ kit, JE DESIGN additionally offers a steering lock limiter for the front axle.

Individualized Interior enhancement

The Touareg experiences a distinguishable enhancement of the interior through a complete carbon treatment. JE DESIGN covers the door panels, shifting gate, lower portion of centre console as well as the upper instrument screen with a carbon-coating. Next to the classical carbon grey-black colour customers can choose other tints such as blue, orange, silver, brown etc. without additional cost.

Following this performance enhancement, the maximum torque goes up to 460 Nm. JE DESIGN also supplies a performance enhancement package for the Touareg V 10 5.0 TDI, which gives the brawny VW 259 kW / 352 bhp, equating to an increase of 29 kW / 39 bhp. Following this enhancement, the maximum torque is increased from 750 Nm to 855 Nm. Placed between R 5 and V 10, the 3.0 V6 TDI completes the available engine offering. 165 kW / 225 bhp and 500 Nm are the standard values of this engine. A power plus of 45 kW and a torque increased by 50 Nm propel the Touareg in 8,9 seconds from zero to 100 km/h (standard: 9,9 sec) and enable a top speed of 207 km/h (plus 6 km/h).

The styling suite includes a front spoiler, a set of side sills with an air inlet, which makes the car look lower, and a rear apron attachment. The rear apron attachment is also available for models with Park Distance Control. Moreover, JE DESIGN offers cartridges for double headlights consisting of fog lamps and upper beam headlights for its front spoiler. The self-adhesive roof fin “Shark Attack” rounds off the overall image of the JE DESIGN Touareg.

Additionally JE DESIGN offers their customers LED lights for the entrance area integrated into the side skirts and the rear apron.

Striking to the eye are also the stainless steel twin tailpipes, each with two 84 mm tailpipes on the left and right, which help to create that chunky look. To lower the suspension in vehicles with air suspension, JE DESIGN offers an electronic suspension lowering module, which allows the vehicle to be lowered by approx. 35 mm. For vehicles with conventional suspension, JE DESIGN also supplies a height-adjustable Variant 3 KW coilover suspension from stainless steel with adjustable rebound and pressure damping, which allows the suspension to be lowered by approx. 30 to 75 mm. Alternatively, a set of springs for the original shock absorbers for lowering the suspension by approx. 30 mm.

By way of tyres, JE DESIGN offers the AZEV wheel rim R in the size 10 x 22" ET 50 for or as a complete set of wheels equipped with 295/30 R 22 tyres.

A spectacular body kit “WIDE BODY” for the new VW Touareg is in preparation.

Of course, one reason for this is the fact that the Allgäu-based tuners particularly stress the “S” in “SUV”. Abt has made the optically clearly improved version of the SUV from Wolfsburg also very sporty: at the moment, three diesel engines are available, and all of them come with a power increase. That is particularly obvious with the popular 3.0 TDI, which, in this version, delivers 270hp (199kW) instead of the serial 225hp (165kW) and 550Nm torque. The segment of elegant SUVs starts with the 2.5 TDI, which thanks to Abt delivers 195hp (serial version: 174hp) or 143kW (serial version: 128kW).

The jewel is once more the Abt Touareg VS10, the ten-cylinder turbo diesel, which gains its enormous power of 360hp (265kW) from a five-litre engine. This engine perfectly harmonizes with the Abt Touareg. The V8, too, with its capacity of 4.2 litres is perfect for the powerful appearance of the SUV made in Kempten: instead of the serial 350hp (257kW), mighty 500hp (368kW) give the Abt VS8-R impressive drive.

The Abt Suspension, which is tailor made for the requirements of this extraordinary vehicle, guarantees that the enormous power potential of the Abt Touareg can be handled while driving. The comfortable air suspension with the innovative Abt Level Control (ALC) is also available for this version. Even in risky situations the Abt brake system bites with a firm grip and brings the car of 2.4 tons to a standstill.

Again, the Kempten-based tuners have designed an extravagant body kit for the SUV, just as they did for the first Touareg version: a front spoiler lip, side skirts, fender extensions, a rear wing, rear skirts and the 4-pipe exhaust system typical for Abt form a design unit, which makes the car look extremely dynamic from every angle.

The Abt Touareg is far lower and broader than its serial twin, and that suits him perfectly. Even when the car is standing, you know that it feels at home on every terrain and that it will be able to deal with all challenges. Just right: the Abt AR-wheel with 19, 20 or 22 inches.
