HPA Motorsports Scirocco FT565 on the 2010 SEMA Show
HPA Motorsports announced that it’s FT565 equipped Scirocco will be featured on HD Wheels booth # 48067 at the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas NV from November 2nd-5th.
Based on the Euro-spec Scirocco R trim package, the HPA-built Scirocco is completely transformed from its tame 4 cylinder 2WD origins with the integration of a robust 6-cylinder motor and Haldex all wheel drive system. Equipped with the well known HPA FT565 twin turbo powerplant, along with a variety of handling and performance add-ons, the result is a potent machine worthy of the title “super carâ€.
Road & Track magazine reports, “The HPA Scirocco accelerates like the wind it’s named after, hitting 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and the quarter mile in 11.4 sec. at 122.7 mphâ€.
Features include: FT565 twin turbo package, twin competition air-to-air intercoolers, quad bypass stainless steel exhaust, stage-3 DSG clutches and software, water-methanol injection, switchable rear differential, Rieger body styling, 8 piston 365mm front and 335mm rear brakes, KW Clubsport coilovers, and integrated heads-up display.
