KW suspensions now offers a full line of coilovers for the VW Golf VI R Typ 1K are now available. These KW coilover kits could be height adjusted from 5-35mm on the front and rear axle and are avalible in Variant 1 basic and inox-line, Variant 2 basic and inox-line, Variant 3 and clubsport applications.
Each different Variant coilover features height adjustability and is offered in the basic galvaized steel housing or as a INOX-linned stainless stee housing. In addition, different Variants offer different levels of damping adjustability and control. Variant 3 and Clubsport applications are only offered in stainless steel housing. The differences are listed below.
Variant 1 is the ideal suspension for customers wishing to rely on the experience of KW engineers yet determine their own degree of lowering.

Variant 3 is state-of-the-art technology for the skilled and experienced driver. The separate and independent compression and rebound damping options allow a truly individual driving set-up.

For high performance sports cars, modified saloons as well as classical sport compact cars are tuned for track duty on the weekends, Kw offers its KW Clubsport suspension kits designed for the rigors of track work and aggressive tires while still civil enough for street use. These improvements are made for a better handling on track sport events, race taxi drives, visitor drives and equability tests particularly on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Due to the level of aggressive vehicle modifications the Clubsports applications have been adapted with changes to the spring and shock setup as well as the installation of racing top mounts.
