REMUS introduces Power Package for Golf VII GTI and Golf GTI Performance onto the market

More power and performance and a more aggressive sound: REMUS, the global leader in sport exhaust systems, has developed a power package for the Golf VII GTI and Golf VII GTI Performance (type AU, from model year 2013). It consists of the REMUS Powerizer, a REMUS sport exhaust system with downpipe, front silencer and rear muffler as well as rear apron. The corresponding components are now available individually or in a package through REMUS.

REMUS has positioned its newest innovation on the market with the slogan, “New Wolf Inside”. The new sport exhaust systems impress not only with the fully shot-blasted surface but also with its even more aggressive sound and in particular with its lightweight construction. This is achieved thanks to a reduction in wall thickness while keeping the same strength. The new muffler interior construction ensures a more aggressive sound. The fully shot-blasted surface made from stainless steel with aerodynamic optimized inner workings guarantees the maximum life and constant sound. The same applies for the exhaust system of the power package for the models Golf VII GTI and GTI Performance.

The REMUS RACING downpipe with a 70 mm diameter and 200 cell sport catalytic converter (830 Euro) can be fitted in combination with the REMUS sport exhausts. For 249 Euro, REMUS additionally offers a stainless steel front silencer (70 millimeters diameter). With an adaptor (65 millimeters diameter), the fitting of the series downpipe is easily accomplished. In two each, left and right assembled, angled, chromed stainless steel tailpipes (diameter: 84 millimeters) which join the stainless steel sport exhaust (537 Euro), available in the conventional design for 573 Euro and also in the STREET RACE variation. Both variations can be fitted on the series front silencer with the help of an adaptor and have the necessary EC approval.

For those who wish to visually reinforce the sporty aggressive sound, choose the corresponding rear apron insert. Tailored for the REMUS sport exhausts, it costs 191 Euro and is available in carbon look or glossy black. REMUS also grants its products, homologated with EC approval, a 36 month warranty.

Sporty drivers, in addition to the highest quality, can also expect the technical maximum performance enhancement. There is an additional power plus with the REMUS Powerizer. The new REMUS Powerizer offers up to 200 kW (272 hp) with a maximum torque of 440 Nm based on the Golf VII GTI (series: 162 kW/220 hp/350 Nm). REMUS also offers a power boost for the Golf VII GTI Performance (series: 169 kW/230 hp/350 Nm): the tuned GTI Performance reaches a performance up to a 205 kW / 279 hp with a maximum torque of 450 Nm. The REMUS Powerizer is available for both car models for 457.50 Euro.
