VW MK7 GTI on V710FF Matte Graphite 19″

Sometimes bigger really is better. In the case of our next featured car, this MK7 GTI is sporting a set of our V710FF in 19×8.5 +45 with no fender mods whatsoever. Bigger also doesn’t always mean heavier when compared to the stock 18″x7.5″ “Austin” wheel.

With the “Austin’s” coming in at 25lbs and the 19″x8.5″ V710FF at 22.6lbs, the savings in weight is 2.4lbs.

Being constructed using the latest in flow-formed technology, the savings in weight counter balances the increase in wheel diameter so there isn’t a sacrifice in performance.

The wheels look just right on the car and we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw more GTI’s stepping it up in size in the future.
