APR Plus: More Power, with a Limited Powertrain Warranty
APR is pleased to present the APR Plus Volkswagen dealership program. APR Plus is performance engine software for new Volkswagen vehicles. It is available directly from Volkswagen dealerships, can be financed within the purchase of the vehicle, and includes a 5-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain warranty with roadside assistance.
APR Plus was launched on January 16th, 2017 at their pilot dealership, Linden Volkswagen, in Linden, New Jersey. To learn how you can purchase an APR Plus equipped Volkswagen, contact Linden Volkswagen or contact your nearest Volkswagen dealership to ask when they will offer APR Plus.
What is APR Plus?
APR Plus gives your engine more power and pep! It’s like upgrading your car to the sportier model, but at a fraction of the cost. Use the power to merge and pass effortlessly, or just have more fun! It’s up to you!
How APR Plus Works
Your car is smarter than you may think. When you push the go-pedal, a computer tells it how fast to go. APR Plus is software that tells it to give you more! More power, more capability, more excitement, more smiles-per-gallon.
What about my warranty?
We replace your factory limited powertrain warranty with the APR Plus 5-year, 60,000-mile limited powertrain warranty. We also include roadside assistance. The rest of your factory warranty remains the same. When you visit a participating Volkswagen dealer for service simply inform them you are an APR Plus customer. If a powertrain repair is required, we pick up the bill all behind the scenes without you ever knowing. And don’t worry, the warranty is financially backed by Warrantech, an AmTrust Financial Company.
How about fuel economy?
Your engine continues to get great gas mileage, and only uses more fuel when you ask your engine for more with your right foot! When you cruise on the highway, or even around town, you’ll typically see the same consumption as you would without the APR Plus upgrade. When you put the pedal to the metal, you’ll use more fuel. Mileage is ultimately up to you and your driving style.
