Forge Motorsport VAG Big Brake Kit
Forge Motorsport have released a ‘big’ brake kit to fit a wide range of VAG cars. The kits are designed and manufactured at Forge’s Gloucestershire HQ and are suitable for many VAG cars including the Mk5 Golf, Audi A3 and new Scirocco. The Forge brake kit comes in two disk sizes – 330mm for cars running a minimum of 17” diameter wheels and 356mm for vehicles running 19” or larger.
The callipers are machined from solid aluminium 7075 high-grade billet and use heavy duty weather seals to make them road-friendly. All disks are suitable for track use and utilize separate bells for optimum heat dissipation, so the kits can cope with repeated, intensive use without fade.
The brake kit also comes complete with all brackets and hardware, Hosetechnik Teflon-lined brake hoses and EBC fast-road spec pads. A better choice are the Ferodo DS2500 pads which can be included in the kit at additional cost.
