Hamana VW Golf 7 R

Hamana is one of the oldest and most respected bodyshops in Japan. The company offers a wide range of regular repair and painting services, but also custom work, that is something that they become best known for. Hamana was founded 50 years ago and like most custom shops. Specializing in sheet metal rework and painting, it laid the foundation for wanting to venture into the customized body work. 40 years later, Hamana entered in the market of customizing cars.

At this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon, the company showed three cars that stood out on their booth, one of them was a white VW Golf R with a custom in house wide body kit.

There isn’t much information about the bodykit and if it is available oversees, but the Golf R features a subtle wide body kit with wider fenders, different front and rear bumpers, rear diffuser with dual exhaust and side skirts.

The Hamana Golf R is fitted with Vossen’s latest LC-105T forged wheels, measuring 20×11″ in the rear! Partnered with Hamana’s wide body kit, these wheels really transform this Golf R.
