The flexibly mounted stainless-steel guard with a tube diameter of 60 millimeters is designed to absorb energy in a crash, while protecting the front end from damage at the same time. Crash tests with this innovative accessory showed it stayed well below the strict limits set by the EU Directive 2009/78 on pedestrian protection. The Cobra Technology & Lifestyle front guard comes with a choice of chromed or matte black plastic coating. The latter can also be painted easily in vehicle or contrasting color. To further optimize active safety, Cobra Technology & Lifestyle offers auxiliary high-beam headlights, which can be mounted to the upper or lower crossbar of the front element with tailor-made brackets.
There are two Cobra Technology & Lifestyle accessory options for the sides of the VW T-Roc. The stainless-steel rocker panel guards with a tube diameter of 60 millimeters and integrated steps protect the rocker panels and facilitate getting in and out of the vehicle. The ready-to-mount set is likewise available with a choice of chromed high-gloss finish or with matte black coating.
