This kit is a full re-design of the firm’s previous catch-can kits for VW Group cars and features valuable lessons learned along the way in its new iteration. The kit fits almost every single VW group vehicle fitted with this engine, including the Mk5 and Mk6 GTI, B6 Passat, Eos, Tiguan, Audi A3 and Mk2 TT. Designed to completely bypass the factory PCV system while providing increased operative function. With an eye on emissions compliance the Forge catch tank kit is a fully recirculating design, but one that has been designed to capture all of the aerated oil, fuel, and water vapour contained in the blow-by gasses that would otherwise enter the intake tract and potentially contribute to deposits on the intake valves, thereby keeping the intake system clean and the engine performing optimally long-term.

As with all Forge components, care and time was taken to ensure that the kit contains everything needed for a quick and simple fitment, so all hoses, components and accessories come as standard, along with highly details and fully illustrated fitting instructions, making this a viable fitment for any talented home mechanic. Every part of the kit is hand-finished in Forge’s Gloucestershire factory, with the beautifully CNC’ed and heat-sink detailed take off plate being the real system highlight.
