When ABT Sportsline deals with the VW Golf, the result is traditionally a compact super sports car. This is because the world’s largest tuner of vehicles from the Volkswagen group has given all generations of the successful Wolfsburg car an optical and technical boost. The current super Golf answers to the letter R, which announces the most important characteristics of the car: the "R" stands for "racing" - it transports the experience of ABT, which has recently defended its DTM title and won the ADAC GT Masters. 
Senner Tuning has a new package available for the Golf V R32. The tuner improves the engine power by 24 PS (18 kW / 24hp), dialing the R32 up to 274 PS (202 kW / 270 hp) and 339 Nm (250 lb-ft) of torque. That power upgrade comes by way of a BMC Carbon Airbox, a stainless steel sport exhaust system, and, of course, a little ECU tuning. 
APS, the UK dealer of the Swiss-based Sportec tuning firm, has announced the launch of a new Stage One ECU package for the Volkswagen Golf R hot hatch. In stock form, the Golf R's 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers 267bhp and 258 lb-ft (354Nm) of torque. With the software upgrade, output is bumped from to 300bhp at ,6000rpm and 321lb.ft (440Nm) of torque at 2750 rpm. 
The sixth generation of Golf - optional with the 3 magic letters GTI or GTD - is like his predecessors an object of desire for the tuners. B&B has unveiled the first tuning program for the Volkswagen Golf R. B&B has three different configurations, the Golf R can be modified to produce 310, 324 and 362 PS. While details are limited, the range-topping model features a larger turbocharger, a sports exhaust system (with a larger downpipe and a racing catalyst), revised engine electrics, a new air intake, an optimized intercooler, and a Slim-Line oil cooler.
