The most powerfull VW Golf VI R
German auto tuner HGP has created the world’s most powerful version of the Golf R. The €65,000 car develops 745ps and 925Nm of torque by strapping two HGP R28 turbos to the 3.6-liter V6 found in the Passat R36, and it still uses the seven-speed DSG and all-wheel drive. HGP calls the car the R36 BiTurbo.
Other modifications include special tuning software, a higher flow fuel system, sand-cast alloy intake manifold, 2 larger high-flow intercooler and hybrid turbocharger with high-nickel content cast-iron exhaust manifold and wider diameter exhaust. Also the cylinder head is modified and uprated pistons and connecting rods were fitted.
HGP also offers a version of the car with a six-speed DSG, but power decreases to 530ps and 700Nm of torque.
HGP claims 3.1 seconds to accelerate to 100km/h. For more information go to www.hgp-turbo.de/golf-vi-sonderumbau.html
