German engineering firm Mcchip-DKR has created a new set of upgrades for the Volkswagen Golf R. The car comes with new software for the engine control unit that boosts horsepower from 270 PS (199 kW / 267 bhp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) to 315 PS (232 kW / 311 bhp) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft).
The engine's maximum torque output has also been substantially increased, from 350 to 440 Nm, a gain of almost 26 percent. The cost of the engine work-up is €899, and works well with either of the car's gearboxes.

The car on the pictures comes with a set of H&R lowered springs. The wheels are the OZ Ultraleggera 8x19-inch wheels. The blacked-out wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 235/35 performance tires.
